[edit] How to redeem
To request an award ticket or award certificate, redeem online, call the service center or visit Air Canada ticket office. Award bookings must be confirmed for ticketing immediately at the time of reservation. Award requests on First Air must be made at least 14 days prior to departure.

Awards will be processed immediately when e-ticket is requested, allow at least two weeks when mailed and seven days to pick up at ticket office.

Via internet, Air Canada ticket locations or mailed to member's address on file.
[edit] Expedited Award Delivery
AeroExpress Courier Service: Allow four to six business days from date of request; CAD$35, plus taxes. Remote areas may require additional delivery time. AeroRush service: For travel requested less than seven days prior to departure for awards with Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz; CAD$50, plus applicable taxes.
[edit] Transferability of Awards
Awards may be transferred to member's legal immediate family at time of award issuance by the member. Aeroplan elite-level members may transfer awards to anyone they choose through the Gift of Travel option.
[edit] Changing an Award
Changing flight dates or numbers: CAD$25 plus taxes when there is no change to the origination/destination. Changing destination: CAD$75 plus taxes within same award zone on Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz only. Name changes: Not allowed, must return ticket and make a new reservation. There is a CAD$75 service charge plus taxes. Name changes are not permissible once award reservations have been made or ticket has been issued. Redepositing miles: Return unexpired and unused certificates or tickets with accompanying letter stating request to the Aeroplan Reward department. A CAD$75 service charge plus taxes applies; payable by credit card only if reservations are canceled at least 24 hours prior to departure (no charge for Elite or Super Elite members).
