To request an award ticket or award certificate, call reservations or request online. Companion, upgrade and non-airline partner awards must be requested by calling the service center.
[edit] How long it takes
E-tickets are available within three days of departure. Paper award tickets will be processed within two weeks; allow 3-4 weeks for other awards from the date received.

Mailed to member's address on file.
[edit] Expedited Award Delivery
7-10 day delivery: US$50 fee; US$25 fee for Silver tier members and no fee for Gold tier members; awards will be delivered to member's address for British Airways and partner airline tickets. Companion, upgrade and non-airline partner awards: US$100 fee for a 2-3 day delivery to member's address.
[edit] Transferability of Awards
Awards may be transferred to anyone at time of award issuance by the person whose name appears on the certificate. Once issued, award tickets and certificates are not transferable. Any household account member can redeem from the account, regardless of who earned the redeemed mileage.
[edit] Changing an Award
Reinstated mileage: US$50 fee. Reissuance: US$25 fee for any changes requiring a re-issued ticket. After award travel has begun, tickets cannot be reissued.
