To request an award ticket, redeem online or contact reservations.

Awards will be processed within 7-10 days from the date received; E-tickets are processed immediately.

United ticket locations or mailed to member's address on file.

[edit] Expedited Award Delivery

Two-day express delivery: US$25 fee.

[edit] Transferability of Awards

Awards may be transferred to anyone at time of award issuance by the person whose name appears on the certificate or by a family member with the same last name. Member authorizes transfer at a United ticketing office or airport counter. Account holder must show photo I.D..

[edit] Changing an Award

Date and time changes: May be made to an award ticket without charge. Destination or route changes: US$75 fee. Changing award level: US$75 fee. Redepositing miles: US$75 fee. Return unused award tickets to service center.

[edit] PURCHASED UPGRADES

Certificates can be purchased in 500-mile increments for space-available upgrades. Members can confirm upgrades within 24 hours; elite members can confirm upgrades farther in advance. The certificates may be combined to allow one-class upgrades on flights within North America (including Hawaii). Each certificate is valid with full-fare coach tickets for 500 miles of upgrade travel.
