To request an award ticket, call reservations and inform agent of intention to use award, receive confirmation number and supply confirmation number at time of ticketing at an Asiana ticketing office.

Awards will be processed within two weeks from the date received. If reservation is confirmed, Asiana award ticket may be issued immediately at ticket counter upon receipt of taxes.

Mailed to member's address on file.

[edit] Transferability of Awards

Awards may be transferred to anyone at time of award issuance by the person whose name appears on the certificate except for residents of Korea where awards may be tranferred to another family member only.

Route changes (within the same region) or three-month award validity extension: US$30 fee or 5,000-mile deduction; no fee for elite-level members. Lost or stolen awards: US$30 fee or 5,000-mile deduction: tickets can be reissued 3 to 12 months after the original date of issue; US$100 fee or 10,000-mile deduction: tickets can be reissued one year after the original date of issue. Unused award mileage refunds: Receive full refund within three months of issuance; US$30 or 5,000-mile deduction within one year; US$100 or 10,000-mile deduction after one year from date of issuance.
