[edit] Membership Restrictions
Members must be at least 12 years old and members under 18 years need consent from a parent or guardian to spend miles. Accounts with no activity for a period of three years may be closed.

Note accrual restrictions: Virgin Atlantic and bmi British Midland, Continental Airlines, Malaysia Airlines or Singapore Airlines codeshare: Miles can only be earned for tickets bearing the "VS" flight prefix. Air New Zealand: Booking classes that do not quailify for accrual are L, G, S and K (domestic) and L (international). Austrian Airlines, Lauda Air and Tyrolean Airways: Miles cannot be earned on flight ranges 7000-7099 OS Rheintalflug. Gulf Air: Miles can only be earned for travel in ticket classes F, A, J, C, Y, H, M and K. Hawaiian Airlines: Miles cannot be earned in ticket classes S, K, H, N, B, T and D. Malaysia Airlines: Domestic Malaysia flights are ineligible for mileage accrual as well as all MH9000 flights. Nationwide Airlines: Miles cannot be earned in Q, G, T, B, Z and V class. SAS: Miles cannot be earned on inclusive tour rates, Danish domestic flights or flights offered by SAS but operated by another airline. Singapore Airlines: Miles cannot be earned in O, I, V, X, Q, G, S and N classes.
