[edit] How to redeem

To request an award ticket or award certificate, visit any Mexicana ticket office or call service center. Members who reside in the U.S. must request awards over the phone from the service center.

Allow 4-5 days for delivery. Claim awards immediately if redeemed at Mexicana ticket office. Hotel awards must be requested seven days prior to stay.

Mexicana ticket locations or mailed to member's address on file.

[edit] Transferability of Awards

Awards may be transferred to anyone at time of award issuance by the person whose name appears on the certificate. The member must present the certificate to any Mexicana ticketing facility and complete the information required on the certificate in the issuing agent's presence.

[edit] Changing an Award

All changes are allowed before commencement of Mexicana Airlines travel for a US$25 fee. Changes in date and/or flight number may be made without a fee if change falls within the ticket validity date. Once the award ticket has been issued, it may be changed from a roundtrip to one-way ticket for a US$25 fee. For Star Alliance awards, no changes are allowed once travel has commenced.
