Call or mail application to service center, enroll at Mexicana ticket location or online.

[edit] Membership Restrictions

Members must be at least 12 years old. Accounts with no activity for three years may be closed.

Note accrual restrictions: SAS Norwegian domestic flights will not earn miles. Air Canada discounted fares within Canada earn 50% of the mileage.

Earn miles on published adult fares, excluding free tickets, discounts/tourist industry passes, charter tickets or net fares, except VTPs.

Mexicana Airlines, Aerocaribe/Aerocozumel, Varig, Aerolitoral, Aeromar, AeroMexico or Air Canada: Earn 625 minimum miles. Airline partners: Earn actual miles except Lufthansa flights within Germany earn 500 minimum miles.

Mexicana Airlines: first class (international): 50% bonus; first class (domestic): 25% bonus. Air New Zealand, ANA, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways International, United Airlines or Varig: first class: 50% bonus; business class: 25% bonus. Lufthansa: first class: 200% bonus; business class: 100% bonus. Air Canada or bmi British Midland: business class: 25% bonus. Austrian Airlines, Tyrolean Airways, Lauda Air or SAS: business class: 100% bonus. AeroMexico: first class (international): 50% bonus; first class (domestic connecting with international): 25% bonus.

[edit] Car Rental Mileage Accrual

Earn 625 miles per car rental with Alamo, Avis, Executive or Hertz at participating locations in Mexico. Earn 80 miles per day with Hertz at participating locations in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Central and South America. A flight in conjunction is not required.

[edit] Hotel Stay Mileage Accrual

Earn 625 miles per stay on eligible rates at most participating partner hotels. Earn 500 miles per qualifying stay at Radisson locations outside of Mexico and 625 miles in Mexico. Earn 312 miles or 625 miles at Sol Melia hotels, depending on the type of hotel. Earn 1.6 miles per US$1 spent at participating Marriott Hotels. Most partners require a flight in conjunction.

Frecuenta Banamex MasterCard: Earn one mile for every 10 pesos spent. American Express: Convert Membership Rewards points into miles: 1,000 Membership Rewards points = 1,000 miles. Diners Club: Convert Club Rewards points into miles: 1,000 Club Rewards points = 1,000 miles. Banorte: Convert Banorte old points into miles: 1,000 points = 1,250 miles ; 1,000 new points = 625 miles. IXE Rewards: Convert IXE Rewards points into miles: 1,500 points = 1,000 miles.

[edit] Mileage Purchase

Members with balances near an award threshold are able to purchase miles to add to their remaining balance and redeem them for award travel in conjunction with a booked itinerary. The cost is US$12 (plus tax) per 500 miles; miles must be purchased in 500-mile increments and there is no limit to the number of miles purchased toward an award.

Statement sent bimonthly to members with activity; monthly to elite-level members regardless of activity.

Miles do not expire.
