Accounts with no activity for 12 consecutive months may be closed.

[edit] Hotel Stay Point Accrual

Earn five points per eligible US$1 or equivalent charged to member's room at all Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide. Earn three points per eligible US$1 charged to member's room for eligible room rates at Hawthorn Suites. Earn points for any published room rate except airline employee, travel agent industry, intercompany or Hyatt employee discount, permanent contract and hotel contract room rates. Receive points for up to three rooms per member if requested at time of check-in and member pays for all charges and personally occupies one of the rooms. Eligible bill charges for which points will be awarded will vary by hotel. Generally, points will be awarded for food, beverages, lounge expenses (except for expenses at outlets not operated by hotel) laundry valet and phone, when charged to hotel room.

Members may choose to earn points or miles. Choose 500 miles or points with Air Canada Aeroplan, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, All Nippon Airways Mileage Club, America West Airlines FlightFund, American Airlines AAdvantage, British Airways Executive Club, Cathay Pacific Airways Asia Miles, China Airlines Dynasty Flyer, Continental Airlines OnePass, Delta Air Lines SkyMiles, KLM Flying Dutchman, Korean Air Skypass, Lufthansa Miles & More, Midwest Airlines Midwest Miles, Northwest Airlines WorldPerks, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, SN Brussels Airlines Privilege, South African Airways Voyager, Swiss International Air Lines Swiss TravelClub, Thai Airways International Royal Orchid Plus, United Airlines Mileage Plus or US Airways Dividend Miles. Choose 750 miles with Virgin Atlantic Flying Club; 625 miles with Mexicana Frequenta; 600 miles with Alitalia MilleMiglia; 1,000 kilometers with LanChile LanPass or Aeromexico Club Premier; 600 points outside Australia or New Zealand or 1,000 points inside Australia or New Zealand with Qantas Airways Frequent Flyer; or .5 credits with Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards. Earn 300 miles with American Airlines AAdvantage, Delta Air Lines SkyMiles, United Airlines Mileage Plus, US Airways Dividend Miles, Continental Airlines OnePass, Northwest Airlines WorldPerks or Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards when staying at Hawthorn Suites.

Earn 300 points for travel on America West Airlines, British Airways, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Midwest Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines or US Airways in conjunction with a stay.

Earn 300 points per qualifying rental with Avis or Sixt. A stay in conjunction is not required.

Diners Club: Convert Club Rewards points into Gold Passport points: 2,000 Club Rewards points = 750 Gold Passport points.

Earn up to 50,000 points for holding a qualifying meeting of 10 or more rooms or a catered event. Call the service center for details.

Earn 500 points per night for purchasing a Hyatt Vacations package or any prepaid or wholesale travel package that includes accommodations at Hyatt hotels and resorts. Call 800/772-0011 for details.

Members who share the same residential mailing address may combine points to redeem an award.

[edit] Point Purchase

Members with point balances near an award threshold are able to purchase points to add to their remaining balance and redeem them for awards. Members may purchase up to 10% of required points for award redemption. The cost is US$10 per 500 points (up to 10,000 points per year).

Present membership number when making reservations and at check-in for automatic tracking.

Statement mailed or emailed every quarter to members with activity in the three months preceding the statement period; Diamond-level members receive quarterly statements regardless of activity. Statement can also be viewed online.
