Mail enrollment form to service center or enroll online at britishairways.com. Household account members can enroll online by downloading a form and faxing it to the service center.

[edit] Membership Restrictions
To be eligible to join, potential members must fly a Y,B,H or premium-class fare or own and use a British Airways co-branded credit card, and must be at least 18 years old (unless a household member). Accounts with no activity for five years may be closed.
In 2007, British Airways changed this rule to allow anyone to join the Executive Club.
[edit] Flight Mileage Accrual
Note accrual restrictions: Discount coach fares (G, K, L, M, N, O, Q, S and V) earn 25% of the actual miles flown. Mileage cannot be accumulated on American Airlines flights between London Heathrow and the US.

Earn miles on published fares excluding free, infant, travel agent and certain discounted fare travel.

British Airways/BA designated flights: Earn 500 minimum miles; 125 minimum miles when traveling on discount coach fares: G, K, L, M, N, O, Q, S and V. Partners: Earn 500 minimum miles.

British Airways: first class: 100% bonus; business class (Club Europe/World): 50% bonus; World Traveller Plus: 25% bonus.
[edit] Car Rental Mileage Accrual
Earn 250-500 miles per qualifying car rental with Avis. Earn 50 miles per day with Hertz. With Hertz, a flight in conjunction is required within 24 hours of rental.

Earn 500 miles per qualifying stay at most participating partner hotels. Earn 100 miles per stay at Scandic Hotels. Earn 250 miles per night at Le Meridien (maximum of five nights) and Mandarin Oriental (maximum of seven nights). Earn one mile per US$1 spent at Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, SpringHill Suites, TownePlace Suites, Residence Inn and Horizons, all by Marriott. Earn three miles per US$1 spent at Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites or Renaissance Hotels, Resorts and Suites. When staying at The Luxury Collection, Sheraton, Westin, W Hotels, Four Points, St. Regis or Jumeirah International, earn three miles per US$1 spent. Earn three miles per GB£1 spent after initial GB£150 spent (London locations) and GB£100 spent in regional locations at Thistle Hotels. A flight in conjunction is not required.
[edit] Affinity Credit Card Mileage Accrual
For UK members - Amex BA credit card, with 3 levels. Basic card (no fee) earns 1 mile per £1 charged; premium card (£60 fee) earns 1.25 miles per £1 charged and 2.5 miles per £1 charged on BA; premium plus card (£120 fee) earns 1.5 miles per £1 charged and 3 miles per £1 charged on BA. Fees are reduced if Amex charge card is held. Spend on cards also generate vouchers which can be used to gain a second award ticket (same class/route/timings) when redeeming for one ticket (the famous 'Amex 2 for 1', excellent value when used on premium long-haul) - spend required £10k (PP), £15k (P), £12.5k (?, basic) annually.
For US member - British Airways Visa Signature Card: Earn one mile per US$1 charged and two miles per US$1 charged on British Airways. Earn 10,000 bonus miles with first purchase or balance transfer.
For Canadian residents - Royal Bank British Airways Visa Card: Earn one mile per CAD$1 charged and two miles per CAD$1 charged on British Airways. Earn 5,000 bonus miles with first purchase and 2,500 miles on annual renewal. Diners Club: Convert Club Rewards points into miles: 2,000 points = 1,000 miles.

MCI: Earn five miles for every US$1 spent on MCI services, plus earn 5,000 miles when signing up. British Airways Calling Card: Earn five miles per US$1 spent on calls, voicemail, fax and conference calling services. Visitel Cellular Phone Rental: Earn 10 miles per GB£5 spent (for use in Europe, Australia and South Africa). Rentaphone: Earn 50 miles per day's rental, plus 50 miles per US$10 spent on calls. Earn 2,000-5,000 bonus miles (depending on handset) with a contract purchase.

Collect Tesco Clubcard points, which can be converted into BA miles, generally at a rate of £1 of vouchers: 240 miles. A higher rate was available, but is not now... however reference can be made to this rate on the forum, as some members were grandfathered in. Can be a spectacularly cheap way of earning BA miles, even if it can lead to large amounts of unwanted food accummulating, depending on what bonus clubcard points offers are available.

Maximum of seven members residing at same address may pool miles through a household account.
[edit] Mileage Purchase
Members may purchase miles for themselves or other members, up to 19,000 miles per recepient, per year; online purchase only at ba.com/purchasemiles. Cost: US 02.25 cents a mile for 1,000-5,000 miles; US 02.5 cents per mile for 6,000-19,000 miles, plus US$25 transaction charge.

Statement sent regularly to members with activity via email and is also available online.
[edit] Mileage Expiration
Miles are given an expiration date of 36 months from the date of transaction; however, each new transaction will move the expiration date of all miles ahead to 36 months from the date of that transaction. Miles will not expire as long as a member earns or redeems miles within each 36-month period.

Send copy of ticket and original boarding pass, car rental agreement or hotel bill with membership number to the service center within six months of transaction; include Retro Credit Request form found on bottom of statement. Call the service center for British Airways flight credit. Allow six to eight weeks for processing. Members may also submit a claim for quick flight credit online.
