Members must be at least 2 years old.

[edit] Fare basis

Earn miles on published fares excluding industry tickets, infant fares, unpublished fares, free tickets, no-value tickets, agency-discount tickets, denied-boarding tickets and barter tickets.

On all THAI operated flights, for paid travel in all booking classes, you earn miles, plus additional class of service miles. For THAI flights less than 500 miles in distance, you earn a minimum of 500 miles.

Economy Class – Y, B, M, H, Q, T, K, S - 100%

Economy Class (discounted fares) V, W - 50%

Premium Economy Class - 110%

Thai Airways and most partners: Earn 500 minimum miles. Air Canada domestic flights:Earn 250 minimum miles. No minimum mileage earned on All Nippon Airways or Air New Zealand.

Thai Airways, Star Alliance and all other partner airlines: First class: 50% bonus; business class: 25% bonus.

[edit] Car Rental Mileage Accrual

Earn 500 miles per qualifying car rental with Avis and Budget. Earn 250 miles per rental in Asia with Hertz. Outside Asia, earn 500 miles per rental with Hertz in conjunction with a Thai Airways or partner flight. A flight in conjunction is not required with Avis and Budget.

Earn 500 miles per qualifying stay at most participating hotel partners. A flight in conjunction is not required.

Available to residents of Asia only.

Global One Calling Card: Earn five miles per US$1 spent, plus a 500-mile bonus upon first use.

Members with mileage balances near an award threshold are able to purchase miles to add to their remaining balance and redeem them for award travel in conjunction with a booked itinerary. Members may purchase up to 30,000 miles (in increments of 2,500). The cost is US$.02 per mile.

Present membership number when making reservations and at check-in for automatic tracking.

Statement sent quarterly to members with activity.

Miles expire three calendar years from the end of the year when miles were first earned.

Send copy of ticket and original boarding pass or car rental agreement to the service center within six months of transaction. Hotel receipts must be sent directly to the partner concerned.

Royal Orchid Plus News sent quarterly to members with activity.

Award tickets and hotel award certificates are valid for one year from issue date. Award travel or hotel stay must be completed prior to expiration.
